Hostgator ReviewsHost gator is one of the most popular and very prominent hosting providers, but their speeds aren't as good as you think. I have used host gator previously and I would like to review host gator for your benefit. Host gator does provide fairly cheap pricing. Their support and service is definitely unmatched. But, they do put a lot of users on a single server. Therefore, your speeds will reduce. During my time with host gator, there were times when my websites loading would take longer than usual. I found out this had occurred because the CPU was being used up by the other users on the server. This was happening because host gator is getting more popular every day, so there are more hosting accounts being placed on a single server which causes the CPU load to increase, resulting in a slower loading speed. I personally would rather go for a service with fewer users on a single server or purchase a reseller account if you can afford it. Host gator may not have the fastest speed, but they do have the best support out of any web hosting company I have been with. They have faster support and they review your problems quickly and give an appropriate response. If you don't mind having decent speeds and cheap prices, but good quality support, go for host gator. But, if you want faster speeds, I recommend you look for a different web hosting service altogether unless you are just hosting a personal or simple website. |
